Make this dish in a crockpot and let it simmer all day.
Ingredients
1 cup (150g) celery, chopped
1 cup (180g) onion, chopped
84 ounces (2.4kg) baked beans (three 28-ounce cans)
15 ounces (425g) butter beans
1/2 cup (120mL) wine, dry red
2 Tbsp (30mL) molasses
Directions
Chop onion and celery. Place all ingredients in a crockpot; mix and
simmer on low for 6–8 hours.
Note: If you don’t have a crockpot, place ingredients in a
nonstick pot and simmer on the stove for several hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
